PUBLIC ADVISORY
In compliance with COMELEC Resolution No. 11265, entitled “Rules and Regulations on the Prohibition Against the Release, Disbursement, or Expenditure of Public Funds for Social Services Projects and Housing-Related Projects in Connection with the November 2, 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections,” the City Government of San Juan is observing the COMELEC-mandated prohibition on the implementation of covered social services, and housing-related programs and activities during the prescribed period.
In view of this, the following scheduled activities are hereby postponed until further notice, which shall be issued in accordance with the applicable provisions of the said COMELEC Resolution:
• Rice Distribution for Senior Citizens
• 2nd Public Housing Forum
• Beauty for a Better Life: E-Beauty Advisor Program, a free online training by the City Government of San Juan, L’Oréal Philippines, and SPARK! Philippines
• Disbursements of financial assistance covered by the prohibition (except those explicitly allowed by the COMELEC Resolution)
• Other affected City Government activities
• Other affected Barangay activities
• Other affected Sangguniang Kabataan activities
We ask for the understanding of our dear San Juaneños as this is a COMELEC Resolution that our LGU must comply with. We will announce the resumption of these activities and the release of aid once the prohibition is lifted.
