BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 2025 "EARLY DETECTION AND DIAGNOSIS, EARLY TREATMENT FOR A CANCER-FREE COMMUNITY"

The Metro Manila Mayors’ Spouses Foundation Inc. (MMMFSI), in partnership with the City Government of San Juan, the Department of Health (DOH), and the ICanServe Foundation, officially launched the Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025 celebration with the theme “Early Detection and Diagnosis, Early Treatment for a Cancer-Free Community.”

The event, which was held at the Makabagong San Juan National Government Center was led by MMMSFI President Keri Zamora, Mayor Francis Zamora and MMMFSI officers who are spouses of MM Mayors. Also in attendance were Department of Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa, Vice Mayor Angelo Agcaoili, our city councilors, chiefs of health offices from the 17 Metro Manila LGUs, and representatives from the ICanServe Foundation headed by Ms. Kara Alikpala.

The launch featured free breast and cervical screenings, a Zumba session, and a Lay Forum led by experts from DOH, PhilHealth, and Cardinal Santos Medical Center
