Barangay San Perfecto is strategically located in the center f Metro Manila. An almost perfect triangle in shape, it is
bounded in the northwest by N. Domingo Street, in the northwest by F. Blumentritt Street, and in the south by Tuberias Street, also known as “ Tubo”, the pipeline of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage Authority.
According to researches, it may be possible that the barangay was named after Perfecto, the surveyor who surveyed
the place many years ago. At that time, the church and religion had very great influence on the people, so that the names of the cluster of streets in the vicinity are mostly starting with San, the Spanish word for Saint, thus, San Perfecto, San Sotero, San Joaquin, San Remigio, San Venancio, San Jorge, Sto. Toribio, and others.
