The Tricycle Regulatory Board, under the Office of the Mayor is committed to serving San Juaneños by providing assistance to the public and instituting remedial measures and giving recommendations with regard to the public tricycle operations within the City. The office is responsible for the registration of all motorized tricycles operating within the area of responsibility of San Juan City, conducting physical inspection of all motorized tricycle for renewal of their franchise and registrations and issuance of tricycle plates for motorized tricycles for hire and service utility plates for all service utility tricycles. The office also strives to fully implement City Ordinances, Laws, Rules and Regulations and investigate complaints with regards to motorized tricycles operating within the City. Likewise promotes close coordination with the Tricycle Operators and Driver’s Associations (TODAs) and conducts regular meetings with the TODA presidents in order to supervise tricycle operations within the City.
