The City Treasury Department provides the bird’s eye-view of the City’s financial position. Technical support and adequate system of collection for all kinds of taxes, fees, charges, and other receipts are ascertained to be catered. The Department also provides proper supervision and efficient management and control of the City Government’s funds and finances in accordance with the mandate of the Local Government Code and the prevailing guidelines and regulations implemented by DOF-BLGF and other agencies in order to provide the excellent, service to the MAKABAGONG San Juan!
The Department is currently headed by the City Treasurer with her appointed Assistant City Treasurer. Concomitant are the four [4] Division Chiefs supervising the four divisions of the department, namely: Administrative Division, License Division, Real Property Tax Division, and the Cash Division. A total of [40] personnel is manning the department and [7] Job Order personnel to assist them.
The City Treasury Department is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with no noon breaks.
