The San Juan Skills and Livelihood Center empowers every San Juaneno to be Innovative, Enterprising, and Entrepreneurial through free technical-vocational education. The SLTC is under the Livelihood category of the city administration’s 10-point Makabagong San Juan strategy. We equip San Juanenos with skills for employment through structured training taught by industry professionals. We also teach basic entrepreneurship skills that enable our citizens to start their own businesses. Our programs are designed to help every San Juaneno become productive citizens through timely and relevant skills-training in in-demand fields. SLTC’s offerings meet both the needs of the labor market and the goals of the national economic agenda. By the end of the program, it is hoped that graduates will achieve improved quality of life and long-term financial stability, thereby also contributing to the city’s social economic progress. We set our graduates up for success through employment linkage and synergic partnerships with public and private stakeholders. The city supports graduates through job fairs, product bazaars, and continued cooperation with local and international employers.
The Skills and Livelihood Training is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with no noon breaks.
