WHEREAS, Top Choice Training Institute and Assessment Center Inc. is an institution accredited by TESDA to provide technical vocational education program;

WHEREAS, Top Choice Training Institute and Assessment Center Inc. aims to produce highly skilled manpower drivers/operators of Driving NC II (Light Vehicle) and Driving NC III (Passenger Bus/Straight Truck), Driving NC III (Articulated);

WHEREAS, San Juan CDRRMO is a government entity which is the city’s lead agency in promoting disaster resiliency brought about by both man-made hazards or natural calamities. It aims to provide swift and efficient disaster risk reduction programs to foster public awareness and promote preparedness through training and information dissemination with staunch participation from major stakeholders citizenry of San Juan;

WHEREAS, San Juan CDRRMO’s mission is to provide efficient, effective and responsive disaster risk reduction program to promote disaster awareness and preparedness through seminars, trainings and workshops with strong participation of the various stakeholders and community of San Juan;

WHEREAS, the City Legal Officer has certified that the MOA is in order and not contrary to existing laws, rules and regulations;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVEDBY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN, AND BY VIRTUE OF THE POWERS VESTED IN IT BY LAW, in a session duly assembled, to authorize the City Mayor Francisco Javier M. Zamora, to enter into a MOA with Top Choice Training Institute and Assessment Center Inc.;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the authority, issuance and approval hereof is subject to certain restrictions and to all existing laws, circulars, rules and regulations.
