CITY RESOLUTION NO. 68
Series of 2022
WHEREAS, the City of San Juan recognizes its mandate to provide equitable and accessible quality healthcare for all Filipinos;
WHEREAS, the Ortigas & Company Limited Partnership is the owner of 2,360 dozes of COVID-19 vaccines manufactured by ModernaTX, Inc. through a multiparty agreement entered into 2021;
WHEREAS, the provision of additional COVID-19 vaccines would help the City in providing a fast, easy and accessible vaccination for all the people of San Juan;
WHEREAS, the City Legal Officer has certified that the Deed of Donation is in order and not contrary to existing laws, rules and regulations;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Juan, in a session duly assembled, to accept, for and in behalf of the City Government of San Juan the donation of Ortigas & Company Limited Partnership and to sign the Deed of Donation;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the authority, issuance and approval hereof is subject and conditioned upon compliance to certain restrictions and to all existing laws, circulars, rules and regulations.
