WHEREAS, Ms. Joyce Ysabelle Macapagal Medina, 22 years old is a resident of 112 Leyte Street, Barangay San Perfecto, San Juan City, Metro Manila. She graduated as Cum Laude for Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the University of Sto. Tomas (UST) España, Manila, and was given recognition during the university’s commencement exercises held on June 10, 2022;

WHEREAS, in addition, the said achiever made it to the 1st rank in a class of more than 210 students and obtained the General Weighted Average (GWA) rating of 1.3 and no recorded grade lower than 1.75;

WHEREAS, Ms. Joyce Ysabelle Macapagal Medina, is the daughter of hardworking parents, Mr. Jose M. Medina III and Ms. Rochelle M. Medina, were both legitimate residents of San Juan City, who would give anything to make sure their child will get a proper education whereby, said daughter studied Elementary, High School at Dominican College, San Juan City and UST – Order of Preachers;

WHEREAS, Ms. Joyce Ysabelle Macapagal Medina has earned the respect and admiration of the members of the 6^th City Council and the people of San Juan. Likewise, she serves as a fine example and inspiration for the youth to emulate and excel in their chosen fields of endeavor;

WHEREAS, being a San Juañeno achiever who gives pride and glory to our city, it is only proper that her academic accomplishment be recognized by her hometown;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Juan, Metro Manila, in a session duly assembled, to CONGRATULATE AND GIVE SPECIAL CITATION TO MS. JOYCE YSABELLE MACAPAGAL MEDINA FOR HER ACHIEVEMENT AS CUM LAUDE FOR BACHELOR OF ARTS IN COMMUNICATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF STO. TOMAS (UST) ESPAÑA, MANILA FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that a certificate of recognition and a copy of this Resolution be given to MS. JOYCE YSABELLE MACAPAGAL MEDINA during one of the regular sessions of the City Council.
