Legislative Information Tracking and Administration System

WHEREAS, the Honorable Councilor Arthur Alfredo E. Aquino, prior to him being elected as City Councilor of the City of San Juan, was Kabataang Barangay of Barangay Pedro Cruz in 1979-1985; Barangay Kagawad from 1989-2001 and Barangay Chairman from 2001-2013 of the same barangay;

WHEREAS, the Honorable Councilor Arthur Alfredo E. Aquino’s political background and credentials gave him the utmost advantage of serving the City Council of San Juan for three consecutive terms and his last term of duty in the City Council of San Juan will end on June 30, 2022;

WHEREAS, the Honorable Councilor Arthur Alfredo E. Aquino’s utmost legislative knowledge on his destined tasks has captivated his skills that show effective leadership skills. This can be attributed to his track record, legislative performance, and barangay projects that were implemented during his term;

WHEREAS, the Honorable Councilor Arthur Alfredo E. Aquino, during his three full terms as Councilor-elect of the City of San Juan, capably chaired the Committee on Public Order & Safety of the 4^th City Council (2013-2016); Committee on Market & Slaughterhouse of the 5^th City Council (2016-2019) and Committees on Cooperatives & Livelihood and Market & Slaughterhouse of the 6^th City Council (2019-2022);

WHEREAS, during his term in the 6^th City Council of San Juan, Honorable Councilor Arthur Alfredo E. Aquino has been an effective and efficient representation of the Council to the Senior Citizens;

WHEREAS, the Honorable Councilor Arthur Alfredo E. Aquino initiated various projects aimed at supporting the general welfare of the people, market operation & administration, cooperatives & livelihood and providing medical and financial assistance to his constituents;

WHEREAS, the unique brand and invaluable services of the Honorable Councilor Arthur Alfredo E. Aquino to his constituents providing quality, efficient and effective public service to each and every San Juaneńo showed pursuit of excellence in local governance with a clear vision among other local leaders for the governance of truth, development and service and has nurtured the dedication and commitment in carrying out his responsibilities and be of service to the people;

WHEREAS, the City Government of San Juan congratulates the Honorable City Councilor Arthur Alfredo E. Aquino on the fulfillment of his three terms as the City Councilor of the City of San Juan and looks forward to continuing close cooperation and maintaining excellent relations and, likewise, wishing the best for him and to his family thereafter;

WHEREAS, the City Government extends appreciation and best wishes for his exemplary work and his pursuit of excellence in local governance with his clear vision for governance of the development and for his contributions as a public servant over his nine-year stay in the City Council of San Juan;

WHEREAS, the City Council of San Juan, the Sangguniang Secretariat, and the bureaucracy of the City of San Juan are grateful and proud of his invaluable services to the City Government and its constituents and as such, it is but fitting and proper that they appreciate and recognize the same through this Resolution.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of San Juan, in a duly session assembled, to express its profound gratitude and recognition of the invaluable services rendered by the Honorable Councilor Arthur Alfredo E. Aquino to the City Government of San Juan and its constituents.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this Resolution be furnished to Honorable Councilor Arthur Alfredo E. Aquino, City Mayor, all the City Councilors Public Information Department, and all other pertinent government agencies, departments, and/or offices for their information and guidance.
