Legislative Information Tracking and Administration System

WHEREAS, Ms. Jana Mae N. Tagle is a resident of No. 222 General San Luis Street, Barangay Onse of this city and the daughter of Mr. Henry and Mrs. Analyn Tagle;

WHEREAS, Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad is an event where education brings together young people from all over the globe to apply their skills in challenging and educational math competitions;

WHEREAS, competing against top contestants from around the world, a student from San Juan City Academic Senior High School, Jana Mae N. Tagle won Silver Medal for high school students in this year’s Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad;

WHEREAS, Ms. Jana Mae N. Tagle is a good role model to other students in the City of San Juan and will motivate them to excel in their studies;

WHEREAS, such feat brings great esteem and prestige to the country especially to the City of San Juan because it shows that students of this city are not behind from their counterparts in the field of academics due to the city government’s commitment of providing quality public education;

WHEREAS, as per City Ordinance No. 4, Series of 2020. Ms Jana Mae N. Tagle qualifies for the amount of Fifteen Thousand Pesos (P15,000) under the International Category.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Juan, Metro Manila in a session duly assembled,to recognize and commend the student of San Juan City Academic Senior High School, Jana Mae N. Tagle for winning 2nd Place (Silver Medal) at the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad Heat Round 2022 Senior Secondary, High School Division, that gave honor and pride to the City of San Juan and granting her cash incentives as per City Ordinance No. 4 Series of 2020.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this Resolution be given to Ms. Jana Mae N. Tagle and other concerned offices for their information.
