WHEREAS, Mr. Yeshuah Alfredo A. Guariño Jr. is a resident of No. 135 A. Luna Street, Barangay Salapan of this city and the son of Mr. Alfredo and Mrs. Rebecca Guariño;

WHEREAS, Philippine International Mathematical Olympiad is an event where education brings together young people from all over the globe to apply their skills in challenging and educational math competitions;

WHEREAS, competing against top contestants from around the world, a student fromPinaglabanan Elementary School, Yeshuah Alfredo A. Guariño won Bronze Medal for grade school students in this year’s Philippine International Mathematical Olympiad;

WHEREAS, Mr. Yeshuah Alfredo A. Guariño is a good role model to other students in the City of San Juan and will motivate them to excel in their studies;

WHEREAS, such feat brings great esteem and prestige to the country especially to the City of San Juan because it shows that students of this city are not behind from their counterparts in the field of academics due to the city government’s commitment of providing quality public education;

WHEREAS, as per City Ordinance No. 4, Series of 2020. Mr. Yeshuah Alfredo A. Guariño qualifies for the amount of Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000) under the International Category.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Juan Metro Manila, in a session duly assembled, to recognize and commend the student of San Juan Pinaglabanan Elementary School, Mr. Yeshuah Alfredo A. Guariño for winning 3rd Place (Bronze Medal) at the Philippine International Mathematical Olympiad Heat Round 2022 Grade School Division, that gave honor and pride to the City of San Juan and granting his cash incentives as per City Ordinance No. 4, Series of 2020.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy this Resolution be given to Mr. Yeshuah Alfredo A. Guariño and other concerned offices for their information.
