WHEREAS, DOH-MMCHD, is a regional office of the Department of Health (DOH), the government agency mandated to ensure the provision of equitable and accessible quality healthcare for all Filipinos;

WHEREAS, the State recognizes its mandate to provide equitable and accessible quality healthcare for all Filipinos;

WHEREAS, through the Health Facilities Enhancement Program (HFEP), DOH-MMCD aims to improve the delivery of health services to make it more responsive to the health needs of the population through the upgrading of health care facilities and provision of various medical equipment;

WHEREAS, the City Government of San Juan is a participant in DOH-MMCHD’s project Boosting Universal Health Care via FOURmula One for Health Plus (F1+) which envisions quality health care to be more accessible to the poor and vulnerable population by ensuring the availability of functional health care facilities;

WHEREAS, the DOH hereby donates to the City Government of San Juan various medical equipment including accessories worth Eight Hundred Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred Pesos (P815,200.00);

WHEREAS, the City Legal Officer has certified that the Deed of Donation and Acceptance is in

order and not contrary to existing laws, rules, and regulations.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN, AND BY VIRTUE OF THE POWERS VESTED IN IT BY LAW, in a session duly assembled, to authorize the City Mayor Francisco Javier M. Zamora, to enter into a Deed of Donation with DOH-MMCHD for the donation and acceptance of various medical equipment including accessories worth Eight Hundred Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred Pesos (P815,200.00).

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the authority, issuance and approval hereof is subject to certain restrictions and to all existing laws, circulars, rules and regulations.
