WHEREAS, the Iglesia Ni Cristo was founded by Brother Felix Y. Manalo on July 27, 1914. Its first church in the country was located in Punta Santa Ana district after its first converts were baptized in the nearby Pasig River;

WHEREAS, on September 7, 2009, Executive Minister Eduardo V. Manalo took over the leadership of INC, which is now a recognized, proudly-Filipino international religious denomination;

WHEREAS, it is considered the second largest and strongest formal religion in the Philippines;

WHEREAS, the INC uses vernacular languages in teaching and preaching the Gospel. Its strongly-united, law-abiding, highly-disciplined leaders and members have made INC a role model for other religious and non-sectarian organizations to emulate;

WHEREAS, INC rapidly grew from a church building in Manila to hundreds of churches around the world shows a strong testament not only to the INC'S growth as a religious sector but a manifestation of the resilience of the Filipino faith;

WHEREAS, the INC has not only contributed to the immense promotion of the Filipino language, history culture and fashion, but it has also reliably catered to the general spirituality, economic, and sociocultural well-being of its members, as well, by providing a strong support system in housing, reemployment, livelihood, and education among others;

WHEREAS, the 108^th foundation of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) will be celebrated on July 27, 2022;

WHEREAS, it is only fitting to honor and congratulate INC on this special day which ushered in a new era of religious transformation amongst a multitude of people paved by the late Ka Felix Y. Manalo and continued to this day by its current Executive Minister, Ka Eduardo V. Manalo, under whose guidance Iglesia Ni Cristo continues to expand in terms of members, as well as in religious and socio-economic projects and programs.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Juan, Metro Manila in a session duly assembled, hereby honors and congratulates Executive Minister Eduardo V. Manalo and the entire Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) on the occasion of their 108th Founding Anniversary on July 27, 2022.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this Resolution be furnished to the Iglesia Ni Cristo Central Office immediately after approval hereof
