CITY RESOLUTION NO. 132
Series of 2022
WHEREAS, the City Government of San Juan through the City Health Department actively pursues a development program for its constituents;
WHEREAS, the SJMC through its Department of Pediatrics, having the expertise in child health and also mandated to provide community pediatric health experiences for its resident physicians, seeks to be affiliated with the local health center for this purpose;
WHEREAS, the City Health Department, in keeping with the objectives of the City Government of San Juan, is also concerned with the provision of the health services to members of the community, including infants and children, and has therefore agreed to be affiliated with SJMC Department of Pediatrics for the furtherance of their common health services concerns;
WHEREAS, the City Legal Officer has certified that the MOA is in order and not contrary to existing laws, rules and regulations.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF THE CITY OF SAN JUAN, AND BY VIRTUE OF THE POWERS VESTED IN IT BY LAW, in a session duly assembled, to authorize the City Mayor Francisco Javier M. Zamora, to enter into a MOA with the San Juan Medical Center and with the City Health Department for the implementation of Community Pediatric Health Services at Barangay Sta. Lucia Health Center.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the authority, issuance and approval hereof is subject to certain restrictions and to all existing laws, circulars, rules and regulations.
