WHEREAS, Article 14, Section 19, paragraph 1 of the 1987 Constitution states that, “The State shall promote physical education and encourage sports programs, league competitions, and amateur sports, including training for international competitions, to foster self-discipline, teamwork, and excellence for the development of a healthy and alert citizenry;

WHEREAS, The Philippine National Team aim to win in the AFF Women’s Championship for the first time. The long wait finally ended on July 17, 2022 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, Pasay City, with an epic victory over one of the South- East Asian Powerhouses, Thailand;

WHEREAS, Alisha Claire M. Del Campo was born in San Juan City on September 20, 1999 and was a player of St. John Academy and became the best striker and most valuable player;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Juan, Metro Manila in a session duly assembled, to express its congratulations and admiration to Alisha Claire M. Del Campo of Barangay Pedro Cruz who is a member of Philippine Woman’s National Team, in the championship series held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, Pasay City.
