WHEREAS, the City Development Council (CDC) duly approved and adopt the CDC Resolution No. FMZ-01, Series of 2022, dated September 5, 2022, entitled: “A Resolution Adopting and Approving the Three-Year Local Development Investment Program (LDIP) of the City for Calendar Year 2023-2025;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 306 (g) of Republic Act (RA) No. 7160, the local governments shall formulate sound financial plans, and the local budget shall be based on functions, activities, and projects, in terms of expected results;
WHEREAS, the Local Development Investment Program (LDIP) refers to the indicative yearly expenditure requirements of the LGU’s Progams, Projects and Activities (PPA’s) to be integrated into the annual budget. It is a vital document to ensure the link between the plan and budget;
WHEREAS, the LDIP is the principal document for implementing the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP). It translates the CDP into PPA’s and reflects those which shall be prioritizes by the LGU for funding in the general fund budgets or through other fund generation schemes;
WHEREAS, the LDIP shall serve as shopping list of plans and programs, considered to be important and within the development agenda of the present administration, however, yet to be prioritized and calibrated in accordance with the funds available within a three-year period.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of San Juan, Metro Manila, in a session duly assembled, to approve and adopt the Local Development Investment Plan (LDIP) for Calendar Year 2023-2025 and be utilized as basis in the preparation of the Annual and Supplemental Budgets of the City of San Juan, Metro Manila.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the approval hereof is subject to compliance with all existing laws, circulars, rules and regulations.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Honorable City Mayor Francisco Javier M. Zamora, City Budget Officer, City Planning and Development Officer and all office concerned for their information and appropriate action.
