WHEREAS, the City Development Council (CDC) duly approved and adopt the CDC Resolution No. FMZ-02, Series of 2022, dated September 5, 2022, entitled: “A Resolution Adopting the City Annual Investment Program (AIP) for Budget Year 2023”;

WHEREAS, the Annual Investment Program (AIP) is the annual slice of the Local Development Investment Program (LDIP), referring to the indicative yearly expenditure requirements of the LGUs’ Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs) to be integrated into the annual budget. It is a vital document to ensure the link between the plan and budget;

WHEREAS, the AIP shall constitute the total resource requirements for the budget year, including the detailed annual allocation of each PPAs in the annual slice of the LDIP and the regular operational budget items broken down into Personal Services (PS), Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE), Capital Outlay (CO), 5% Local Disaster Risk Reductions Management Fund, 20% Community Development Fund and Infrastructure Projects;

WHEREAS, pursuant to RA 7160, the City Annual Investment Program for the Budget Year 2023 shall be adopted in order to set the direction of the local development efforts;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of San Juan, Metro Manila, in a session duly assembled, to approve and adopt the Annual Investment Program (AIP) 2023 for the preparation of the FY 2023 Annual Budget of the City of San Juan, Metro Manila.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the approval hereof is subject to compliance with all existing laws, circulars, rules and regulations.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Honorable City Mayor Francisco Javier M. Zamora, City Budget Officer, City Planning and Development Officer and all office concerned for their information and appropriate action.
