CITY RESOLUTION NO. 157
Series of 2022
WHEREAS, the City Government of San Juan through the CHD actively pursues a development program for its constituents;
WHEREAS, the SJMC through its Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, having expertise in women’s health and childbirth and also mandated by the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society to provide community service activities for its resident physicians, seeks to be affiliated with the local health center for this purpose;
WHEREAS, the CHD, in keeping with the objectives of the City Government of San Juan, is also concerned with the provision of health services to members of the community, including women from all walks of life, and has therefore agreed to be affiliated with SJMC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the furtherance of their common health services concerns;
WHEREAS, the City Legal Officer has certified that the Memorandum of Agreement is in good order and not contrary to existing laws, rules and regulations.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF SAN JUAN, AND BY VIRTUE OF THE POWERS VESTED IN IT BY LAW, to authorize the City Mayor, Honorable Francisco Javier M. Zamora, to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with SJMC and CHD for the implementation of Community Services through SJMC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for women in the community of Barangay Pedro Cruz.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the authority, issuance, and approval hereof is subject to certain restrictions and to all existing laws, circulars, rules, and regulations.
