CITY RESOLUTION NO. 168
Series of 2022
WHEREAS, the City Government of San Juan implements programs and projects in line with the Primary Health Care (PHC) approach to facilitate sustainable healthcare delivery to urban poor communities, through the services rendered at the various barangay health units;
WHEREAS, the CTCCM being organized for amplifying the work and advocacy of the Philippine College of Chest Physicians (PCCP) which includes public health and social awareness of the health needs of its surrounding community, has created the Pulmonary Fellows Community Program Rotation (PFCPR);
WHEREAS, the City Government of San Juan, through the volunteer health workers, ensues its commitment to and support for the CTCCM, as its partner in promoting delivery of health services to urban poor dwellers;
WHEREAS, the City Legal Officer has reviewed the pertinent documents related to this matter and has duly certified that the Memorandum of Agreement is in order and not contrary to existing laws, rules and regulations and that the City Mayor may sign the same.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF SAN JUAN, AND BY VIRTUE OF THE POWERS VESTED IN IT BY LAW, to authorize the City Mayor, Honorable Francisco Javier M. Zamora, to enter into Memorandum of Agreement with CTCCM of Cardinal Santos Medical Center for the purposed of establishing a Community Based Inter-Disciplinary Pulmonary Health Program in selected depressed target communities of San Juan City.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the authority, issuance and approval hereof is subject to certain restrictions and to all existing laws, circulars, rules, and regulations.
