WHEREAS, the Barangay Revenue Code of Greenhills, San Juan City has been enacted as early as December 29, 2005;

WHEREAS, there is a need to revise and/or amend the Barangay Revenue Code as set forth in Barangay Ordinance No. 05-001 Series of 2005 considering that prices of commodities and services had already increased since then not to mention the rise in inflation rate through the years;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Greenhills has decided to adopt new set of rates in the imposition of Taxes, Fees and Charges that the Barangay May impose;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Greenhills has conducted hearing/s and has approved Barangay Ordinance No. 08-002, Series of 2022;

WHEREAS, the Committees on Barangay Affairs and Ways & Means of the Sanggunaing Panlungsod has conducted joint hearing on December 1, 2022 to review and scrutinize the submitted barangay ordinance;

WHEREAS, upon thorough deliberation, the committee found that Barangay Greenhills Ordinance No. 08-002, Series of 2022 to be in order and consistent with law and ordinance and has been approved the same on committee level.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Juan, in a session duly assembled, that Barangay Greenhills Ordinance No. 08-002, Series of 2022 entitled: “Barangay Greenhills Revenue Code 2022” is found to be consistent with law and ordinance and is therefore valid.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the approval hereof is subject to compliance to all existing laws, circulars, memoranda and rules and regulations.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that the copies of this Resolution be furnished to all concerned agencies.
