Legislative Information Tracking and Administration System

WHEREAS, the Department of Education prescribed policies regarding the Protection of Children in School against Abuse, Violence, Exploitation, Discrimination, Bullying and Other forms of Abuse;

WHEREAS, part II states the duties and responsibilities of DepEd Offices and Schools along with the pupils, students, and learners with regard to creating a safe learning environment within these institutions;

WHEREAS, part IV and V respectively enumerates the measures to protect and address exploitation, violence, discrimination, bullying, and others along with procedures on handling such cases that may occur;

WHEREAS, private and NGO run institutions shall likewise create their own policies as explicitly stated on Section 23 of this order.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Juan, Metro Manila, in a session duly assembled, that the City of San Juan express, as it hereby expresses, a Resolution adopting the policies of the Department of Education on Child Protection as stated on DepEd Order 4 s. 2012.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to the corresponding offices concerned for their information.
