WHEREAS, the student awardees of San Juan City Academic Senior High School are all residents of the City of San Juan;

WHEREAS, Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad is an event where education brings together young people from all over the globe to apply their skills in challenging and educational math competitions;

WHEREAS, competing against top contestants from around the world, students from the San Juan City Academic Senior High School won various awards for high school students in this year’s Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad;

WHEREAS, the student awardees are good role models to other students in the City of San Juan and will motivate them to excel in their studies;

WHEREAS, such feat brings great esteem and prestige to the country especially to the City of San Juan because it shows that students of this city are not behind from their counterparts in the field of academics due to the city government’s commitment of providing quality public education;

WHEREAS, as per City Ordinance No. 4, Series of 2020, our student awardees qualify for cash incentives under the International Category.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Sangguniang Panglungsod of the City of San Juan, Metro Manila in a session duly assembled, to recognize and commend the students of the San Juan City Academic Senior High School who competed at the Thailand International Olympiad Heat Round 2022 High School Division for winning various awards, that gave honor and pride to the City of San Juan and granting their cash incentives as per City Ordinance No. 4, Series of 2020.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be given to the student awardees of the San Juan City Academic Senior High School and other concerned offices for their information.
