San Juan City vaccinates 104% of its target population with their first dose. This is equivalent to 96,610 or 70% out of the 132,512 population as projected by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This number also represents 112% of the target 86,122 out of the 123,031 based from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) projected population for 2021, and 113% of the target 85,400 which is 70% of 122,000 population based from the 2015 PSA census. San Juan City needs to inoculate 70% of its total population with two doses in order to achieve herd immunity. They have so far fully vaccinated 29,313. This was announced formally by Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, NTF Deputy Chief Implementer Sec. Vince Dizon, DOH Sec. Francisco Duque III and DTI Sec. Ramon Lopez during the Malacañang Press Briefing in Greenhills, San Juan.
